The Muse is a female-founded business dedicated to building technology that supports, inspires, and empowers women to leverage connection and community for all facets of life.

 

WHO CAN USE THE MUSE COMMUNITY APP?

The Muse Community App is made for self-identified women over the age of 18+ who would like to connect with other women online and offline. Muse is available in 158 countries worldwide on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

 

WHERE CAN I USE MUSE COMMUNITY APP

The Muse Community is available for download in all global markets. We are still new, so help us grow in your area by sharing the Muse Community App with the women in your life.

 

WHAT IS THE MUSELETTER?

The Museletter is a monthly letter that empowers our muses through dialogues and profiles on women that live by the Muse mission. Sign up for regular updates through our newsletter!

HOW DO I GET STARTED ON THE APP?

Update your profile by clicking on the Settings icon (top left menu) > Click "View/Edit Your Profile"> Edit. Add biography, social tags and image.

 

HOW CAN I HELP THE MUSE COMMUNITY TO REACH MORE WOMEN WORLDWIDE?

The Muse Community will remain a women-only social connection platform. We ask our members to help us scale our app to reach even more users worldwide by sharing the Muse app with friends and family. 

 

WHO WILL I BE CONNECTED WITH?

The Muse Community is a safe social networking app. Feel free to chat, share and write comments in the app whether you are interested in creativity, psychology or motherhood. You can find the group that meets your needs. 

 

HOW CAN I GET MORE CONNECTED TO WOMEN?

Here are some of our pro tips for creating a profile and content that connects.

  • Perfect the bio

  • Choose a profile pic

  • Share content that uplift and inspire others

  • Comment on other womens posts

 

HOW CAN I SEND MESSAGES?

You can send direct messages to any women in the community. Your messages icon will lead to your inbox. Feel free to say hi in your private chat. 

 

HOW CAN I JOIN GROUPS?

Groups can be edited from your card deck view. Simply tap on the top bar. Add new groups by tapping on the groups you would like to join. 

 

I WANT TO REPORT OR BLOCK SOMEONE ON THE MUSE APP. HOW DO I DO THAT?

If you have an issue with a user and need immediate assistance, please email us at info@themuse.co.

 

CAN I CREATE A MUSE EVENT? HOW DO I SEND IT OUT TO JUST MY MUSES?

Yes, you can. When you create an event and invite muses, you can ask them by clicking their name in messages and sharing the event link directly with them.

 

 I WANT TO INVITE PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF MUSE TO A MUSE EVENT. HOW DO I DO THAT?

Once you are a member, you can use the invite button and share with others or copy the link and share directly from there. Once your guest becomes a member, they can attend the Muse online events.  

 

HOW CAN I VIEW AND RSVP TO EVENTS ON THE MUSE APP?

When you are a member, you will be sent a monthly post sharing our events and workshops. Please make sure to RSVP through the link shared in the event post. 

 

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES?

We want the MUSE COMMUNITY APP to be a friendly, welcoming space for all women. So our guidelines are simple: Create a safe place and be compassionate and kind to group members. It helps to respond to any messages you receive and engage in conversation. 

If your post is reported and deleted, it may be for the following reasons:

  1. It feels unsafe

  2. It is spam (ex. selling or promoting something that is not an activity to do together)

  3. It is explicit or offensive

Content posted and shared with the Muse Community are meant to be uplifting, inclusive, and appropriate. We reserve the right to remove any posts for any reason at our discretion. Thank you for understanding. 

 

HELP! I FOUND AN OFFENSIVE POST ON THE MUSE APP. HOW DO I REPORT IT?

Thanks for letting us know! Please report to info@themuse.co. Explain the situation, send it, and we will promptly remove it.

 

MY POST WAS REPORTED, AND IT WAS REMOVED. WHY?

Thanks for posting on the Muse, but we have guidelines that must be followed to ensure our users' safety. Therefore, we remove posts deemed unsafe, spam, offensive, or have explicit content. We hope you can create inspiring safe posts and conversations that follow our guidelines.

 

HOW DO I BECOME A PREMIUM MEMBER, AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Yay, we were hoping you wanted to upgrade to a PREMIUM MUSE member. Being a paying member, you get access to Muse premium features: access to classes, lessons, group sessions, mentors and more.

To sign up, go to your account profile page and the prompt to sign up is in pink.

 

HOW DO THE DIFFERENT PAYMENT PLANS WORK?

With MUSE PREMIUM and PRIVATE, you choose the package that works for you and get access to all the features that come with being a paying member. Memberships renew monthly ($4.99 a month renewing automatically), or you can purchase an annual membership to all Muse features at $48.00.

It is a recurring billing, but you can cancel at any time. If you choose to purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged within 24 hours.

 

I CHOSE THE PREMIUM PLAN, BUT I WANT TO CANCEL IT. HELP!

You can cancel your MUSE PREMIUM subscription at any time to avoid future payments. Please note that deleting your account or the app does not cancel your subscription. To cancel your subscription, follow the steps below.

iOS:

1. Go to your iOS settings

2. Find and select iTunes & App Store

3. Tap Apple ID (your Apple ID email)

4. Tap View Apple ID

5. Login if it asks you to

6. Scroll down to Subscriptions and tap Manage.

7. Select MUSE COMMUNITY and set the auto-renewal slider to Off or select Unsubscribe.

Note: If the option to turn off auto-renewal is not displayed here, you may have already chosen to turn it off, cancelling future charges. HELP! I WAS CHARGED THE WRONG AMOUNT!

We are sorry to hear that. Here is what you can do:

On iPhone:

  • If you have made an in-app purchase using your Apple ID and have noticed duplicate or incorrect charges on your bank statement, please verify this information with your bank and contact Apple Support to report this issue. Apple handles all transactions directly, including refunds.

 

HOW CAN I UPDATE MY PAYMENT INFORMATION?

All you have to do is update your payment method on the platform that you used to subscribe originally (iOS, Android).

On iPhone:

  • On your iPhone, go to your Settings app > iTunes & App Store > tap your Apple ID > View Apple ID > Payment Information.

 

MY PAYMENT METHOD ISN'T WORKING. WHAT CAN I DO?

First, make sure that you have entered your payment information correctly and try again. If the issue persists, please review the accepted payment methods for the App Store (iOS).

 

HOW CAN I VIEW MY PAYMENT HISTORY?

Follow these directions below to access your payment history.

On iPhone/iOS:

If you have made a purchase using your Apple ID and want to view your payment history, follow these steps:

1. Open iTunes on your computer

2. Sign in with the same Apple ID that you used to subscribe to MUSE COMMUNITY and click your name in the upper-right corner of the iTunes window.

3. From the pop-up menu, select Account Info.

4. Scroll down to Purchase History. Next to Most Recent Purchase, click See All.

5. To see the details of a purchase, click the arrow to the left of the order date. Your most recent purchases are first.
