Terms and Conditions




We use Australia Post for all National and International orders. A flat rate of $10 will be charged for every order within Australia. A flat rate of $25 AUD will be charged for all international orders. These rates exclude express post shipping. Orders over $150 are eligible for free shipping and express post.

We strongly advise you make sure that your order is shipping to a "secure" location, as once a package has been delivered to the correct location, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. All packages left without a signature will have an image taken by Australia Post. This image is available for you upon request to Auspost by quoting your tracking number. Due to confidentiality we are unable to activate this request on your behalf. 

Australia Post collect orders from our Byron Bay location on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 9am. Therefore orders placed on Friday - Sunday will be despatched on Monday 9am EST. Any delays beyond our delivery times could be a carrier issue and MUSE does not accept responsibility for delays of this kind. Claims on lost deliveries will not be accepted after 7 weeks from the date of purchase, consideration will only be made to customers who have made contact within this 49 days.  

Your personal details such as name, address, contact and email will be shared with Auspost only, accurate contact information will ensure a streamlined delivery.  We do not share this information with any other company or service. You will be sent an email confirmation of your order which will act as an invoice and proof of purchase. Once the shipping process has been initiated we will send you the tracking number for your parcel. Check your junk folder if you can't find a tracking update or please contact us at info@themuse.co to follow up on tracking. 




There are significant delays with sending parcels internationally with Australia Post due to the current lack of international flights leaving Australia due to global flight restrictions. Expect delays up to and in excess of 8 weeks depending on your location. By ordering internationally you are agreeing that you accept the significant delays incurred. All product pricing indicated and payments made on this site are in Australian dollars.

Orders to countries outside of Australia may be liable to import duties and/or taxes, which are applied when your package reaches your country. We are unable to estimate the amount of duties and taxes your product may incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs. For more information, please contact your local customs office. MUSE takes no responsibility for these charges.

For tracking updates for international orders please contact your local national postal service and quote the tracking number provided by MUSE, sent via email notification first before making an enquiry with us. Once the parcel has left Australia it will no longer register on our system and be visible only in your local or national postal service. It will be assumed that once you have placed your order you have read and understood our shipping and delivery policy.  


We can only accept returns for damaged goods that are not opened. Please note, all return requests must contact info@themuse.co within 2 weeks of receiving your order. Due to regulations worldwide, we cannot accept any refunds for open packages – this includes customers who are not satisfied with their purchase. Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns or refunds for ‘change of mind’ once a purchase has been made.If you are concerned that your product is damaged or faulty, please contact us so we can assist you with the matter and issue a refund where applicable.



In common with other websites, all personal information saved at www.themuse.co will be handled with utmost care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than making sure you get the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about special offers and other marketing activities related to MUSE. When registering to our web shop, you can choose not to receive information from MUSE. If you wish to end your subscription to information from MUSE send an email to info@themuse.co stating your email address. You have the right to at any time know what information is kept about you in our systems. This information can be requested by sending an email to info@themuse.co. If the information is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted. MUSE reserves the right to delay any order if we suspect a further security control is needed to check payments are secured. This information is only used to enhance the visitors experience when using www.themuse.co only.
